Our little piece of the rock is located in Bosque County about 13 miles northeast of Clifton, TX and 6 miles southwest of Laguna Park, TX. We are in the wide open spaces and enjoy the isolation from populations. It started out as a cattle ranch for many years and when we first bought it we also raised cattle.
Unfortunatly, the sever drought we have had here over the past forced us out of the business of cattle. Hay became expensive and water became scarce and expensive also so we started selling off the cattle and in 2012 switched our focus to South African Boer Goats.

Our Herd
We have been building our present herd for the past several years by acquiring young kids from other breeders in our area. This required us to wait a couple years while they grew up but also enabled us to interact with them and have them become familiar with us and the farm. Now our original group has become the 'seniors' and show all the newbies the way to behave which cuts our time spent working with them.. These are our ABGA Registered animals and the mainstays of our herd.

Since we also raise goats for commercial production, we keep the nanny's busy each year. Our two Sires are full blood ABGA registered SA Boer: Senior Sire named 'Stormin Cowboy'-ABGA# is 10623742, and Jounior Sire name Pertpetual-AGBA# is 00000000. We breed them in October-November to be expecting kids born between March and April yearly.
